Dustin has spent more than 20 years developing multifamily, mixed-use, for-sale and senior housing across Southern California. He has overseen the acquisition, entitlement and delivery of more than 3,000 urban infill units representing over $3.5B in project value.

Before founding DL Smith Company in 2018, he was Managing Director at Alliance Residential, the largest private multifamily developer in the country, and VP of Development at Equity Residential, where he led projects from Downtown LA's 30-story 4th & Hill to Playa Vista's 545-unit Howard Hughes Village. He works with developers, owners and lenders including Blackwood, Walbern, Relevant Group, TPG and Mapleton.

Isabel is a civil engineer and PMP-certified project leader with more than a decade of experience delivering complex real estate and infrastructure projects across the U.S. and internationally. Her background spans project and development management, cost management, and construction, giving her a strong understanding of both the technical and commercial decisions that shape successful projects.

Before R&S Partners, Isabel led project and cost management for major mixed-use developments in Downtown Los Angeles and held senior roles with Flatiron-Dragados on large-scale infrastructure programs. She brings a hands-on, technically grounded approach to managing teams, controlling cost and schedule, resolving complex issues, and protecting her clients’ interests through delivery.
